Stop, Drop and Listen is a whimsical work designed to make audience members more aware of the sounds they make unintentionally during orchestra performances. Audience members are asked to cough, yawn, laugh and even make cell phone calls in response to orchestral cues.
Stop, Drop and Listen was commissioned by the Ann Arbor Symphony and Ray and Eleanor Cross Foundation. The Ann Arbor symphony premiered the work in March 2008.
